Clutch performs on October 20th, 2018 at The Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan – photos by Mirak Habbiyyieh
Clutch headlined a SOLD-OUT show at The Fillmore Detroit for the Book of Bad Decisions Tour 2018. As expected, they came out pedal to the metal and rocked the newly renovated Fillmore to its core. Opening with the Mob Goes Wild, they set the tone for the rest of the evening. They played a bunch of songs off their latest release “Book of Bad Decisions,” but they didn’t disappoint, because it’s full of tasty jams. They also made sure to sprinkle in a few classics as well.
The place lit up, when they started Escape from the Prison Planet, how can you not move to that song? They catered to the Detroit car lovers in the audience when Neil mentioned his love for automobiles before rocking into Crucial Velocity. After thanking everybody for coming to the show, the closed out with, the full of cow bell jam, D.C. Sound Attack!
I’ve been seeing Clutch for 20+ years and I’ve never seen a bad show. From small clubs, arenas to big festivals, Clutch can do no wrong. If you’re into great rock n roll, and never listened to Clutch, there is no better time than now to go to a record store, purchase a digital download or stream their music. You’ll be happy that you did.
