FAIR TO MIDLAND are streaming their new record “Arrows and Anchors” in it’s entirety as an AOL Music Listening Party feature today.
The band recently released a behind the scenes video breaking down what it took to create the cover of their upcoming record “Arrows & Anchors.” Artist Isaac “Eye-Sack” Flores takes you behind the scenes on the long and grueling process he put into creating the band’s logo over such a large piece of land.
FAIR TO MIDLAND will be supporting THE DAMNED THINGS and MAYLENE & THE SONS OF DISASTER on the INKED MAGAZINE MUSIC TOUR this summer. “We’re very excited about being a part of this tour, says bassist Jon Dicken. “We’re fans of all the bands involved and are looking forward to hitting the road with them for what looks like should be a fun summer. It’s a great way to kick off the release of our new record. Also, since it’s called the Inked Magazine Music Tour we may need to make a few tattoo shop stops before the tour starts!”
The band has also been confirmed to support DREDG in July along side THE TROPHY FIRE. Those dates in addition to the cluster of CD Release shows they announced earlier last month officially makes this one of the busiest summers in their career.
FAIR TO MIDLAND will release their brand new full length entitled “Arrows and Anchors” on July 12th, 2011. This is the band’s follow-up to the highly acclaimed record “Fables from a Mayfly: What I Tell You Three Times Is True” released in 2007. One of their new tracks, “Amarillo Sleeps on My Pillow” is still being given away for free download. The iTunes pre-order is also available.
The band recently shot a video for the lead single “Musical Chairs”.
FAIR TO MIDLAND is Darroh Sudderth (vocals), Cliff Campbell (guitar), Brett Stowers (drums), Matt Langley (keyboards) and Jon Dicken (Bass).
