Currently on the road for a sold-out tour in Europe, Avenged Sevenfold are touring in support of their fifth studio album, Nightmare, which exploded at number one on Billboard’s album chart and also topped Billboard’s Rock, Hard Rock, and Digital charts. Its number one debut is the band’s highest first-week chart position ever. The album’s title track has been the most-played track at Active Rock for an entire year.
The tour features support from Stone Sour, who have a multi-week number one Rock hit with “Say You’ll Haunt Me,” and Hollywood Undead, whose new album and follow-up to the gold-selling Swan Songs is due in March 2011.

“Their set was easily one of the most impressive performances I’ve seen in a very long time.” — Seattle Post Intelligencer
“The band sounded tighter and more focused than ever.” — Arizona Republic
“Aside from the energy present in singer Shadow’s delivery, the guitar work of Avenged is top notch. Both Zacky Vengeance and Synyster Gates do some mind-bending solos, but more impressively they perfectly harmonize many of the complicated leads.” — OC Weekly
