Jethro Tull made a stop on their 2010 tour with a performance at the Coliseum at Caesars’ Windsor on Saturday, June 19th. The band, including long time members Ian Anderson and Martin Barre, stuck primarily to their older songs at first; including “Nothing is Easy”, “Beggar’s Farm”, and “Bouree”.
After performing a new song, entitled “Hare in the Winecup”, the band concluded with 3 songs from their best-known album, Aqualung – “My God”, the title song, and as an encore, “Locomotive Breath”. Overall it was great performance by one of Rock and Roll’s most legendary and unique bands, and front man Ian Anderson, even at the age of 62, performed with as much energy as he did in the band’s heyday over 30 years ago.
