I Bet On Sky is out tomorrow in North America (out today in the UK via PIAS)! Dinosaur Jr. will kick off a massive fall tour next week in Toronto that will end in December with a 25th anniversary celebration at Terminal 5 of You’re Living All Over Me. The show will feature Special Guests Kurt Vile and the Violators and what we can only reveal right now as Very Special Friends.

Praise for I Bet On Sky

Arguably the equal of their 80s heyday.

It sounds like a record that they could have released 20 years ago… There aren’t many bands that were once really big that break up, get back together and find that original magic. It just doesn’t really happen very often, but this is a band that I think has found that original magic, and this is a great-sounding record.

A few minutes into I Bet On Sky and you’ll remember why you fell in love with the band the first time around.

I Bet On Sky fits nicely within the band’s catalog, former and present. With every new album we can thank the gods of indie rock that these old dinosaurs are still kicking out the jams.
Under the Radar

A set of tunes commercial enough to sucker you in, yet complex enough to maintain interest. There’s evident enthusiasm throughout and, whilst sounding refreshingly modern, older fans will suddenly remember how much they’ve missed them.

J Mascis will never ever run out of technically and emotionally devastating guitar solos. The band’s return to their early power-trio lineup has just been a reliable geyser of quality.
