Snocore since it's inception has always been such a crapshoot. One year they bust out a line up like Boy Hits Car, Mr. Bungle, Incubus, and System of a Down and then proceed to flush it down the toilet with line ups like Kittie, Fear Factory, and Slaves on Dope. But this year had a great variety and many of upcoming breakthrough bands (like in 99).

While not all the bands were great or even good, Snocore always puts a wide range of rock music on their lineups and I give them respect for that. Ranging from hardcore, Mediterranean style groove, class clowns, and straight up crappy nu-metal.

Hands down the best act of the night was Glassjaw closely followed by the Apex Theory, who filled the fleeting shoes of Fenix Tx, and Alien Ant Farm. Earshot, with a brand new record contract, and good backing from a good label will definitely come into their own as the year rolls through.

Lets not forget Adema who might as well just have stayed on their tour bus. Their front man, Chavez was running his mouth in between every song over a plastic water bottle thrown.

While I never condone throwing anything at bands regardless of how shitty they are, he could've at least dealt with it in classy, mature fashion I lost what little ounce of respect I had for them that night.

With this mid winter festival coming shortly to a close, it's a great way to cure the winter blues with some good music shortly before Ozzfest kicks it into full gear.
