Hot
damn, country music I really like. I will be the first
one to tell you new country music sucks but Hank W.
111 is incredible. With a very full crowd, the Intersection
was at it’s limit with one of the most diverse
crowds I have seen in years. Playing straight forward
twangy country, Hank left fans in awe with his brand
of hellbilly music with a band of top notch musicians
rounding out his awesome set. If that wasn’t enough,
Hank took a ten minute break and hit the stage again
for his ever popular metal set. Hank is no stranger
to the world of metal. He moonlights as the bassist
for Phil Anselmos Super Joint Ritual which would easily
explain the power that infested his true metal set.
All I can say was what I witnessed a show that has to
be in the top ten of shows that I have seen in a long
time. Hank Williams 111 rules, but I still hate new
country. |
