What a night this was. Could you think of a better show to be at than a Tenacious D show? Well i cant at all.

The night started out as a scare, but ended up turning to be good. As i thought i was going to be late, then to find out that the show was move ahead an hour.

After the wait, Home Town Heros hit the stage with a flurry of hard rock riffs and in your face vocals. It seemed the crowd didnt really want them on stage from the start of their set and they let them know with pennies, beer and water flying through the air onto the stage. This didnt seem to phase them one bit, but instead it feed them to play harder. Overall a great set for them, impressed me.

Now onto the main course. The crowd couldnt stand waiting for The D anymore, with chants like "D, D, D", you could tell even before JB and KG hit the stage that this one was going to be one of the best shows of the year.

After a patience wait, The D hit the stage and you could tell what the crowd wanted from there roar. The stage antics of The D are just great, almost like watching a movie. Great stage presents of both JB and KG on how to set the mood right and get the crowd into the show. With great short movie intermissions, cover songs, and the huge setlist that this night was one of the best shows for Grand Rapids.

Just look at the setlist. Almost a 3 hour show of craziness, rock'n'roll, and just plain awesomeness, is the only was to describe them. Kick ass and nothing less.
