| With
almost twenty years under their belts as the kings of
speed metal Slayer still seem to be able to please their
(so called) evil followers from hell. This leg of their
God Hates the World tour was an even extra bonus for die
hard fans. Dave Lombardo has returned behind drums for
what only seems to be the remainder of the tour and what
a treat was this. Pulling out classics including Die by
the Sword, and Chemical Warfare, Slayer released an all
out metal assault. A few songs from their new release
were played but for the most part this was a night of
classics. All thou Slayer aren’t all what they used to
be, if you were ever a fan of theirs, this was a show
to witness. With the recent loss of a close relative of
vocalists Tom Araya, the rest of this tour was pulled
to a hault. Our condolences go out to Tom Aray and his
family for this terrible loss. |
